Skylawn Memorial Park is part of a family of cemeteries, mortuaries and crematories in the greater northern California and San Francisco Bay Area. Situated within the Montara Mountain Range, Skylawn Memorial Park, established in 1957, is centrally located on the San Francisco Peninsula and is one of the youngest of Skylawn's five properties. With about 100 acres developed of the 505 total acres available, Skylawn Memorial Park enjoys the assurance that it will remain free of development projects in the future, because San Francisco City and County Game Reserve surrounds Skylawn. Steven settled in the Bay Area from New York in 1954.  He worked as a Realtor for 40 years, then in 2011 changed his career to Skylawn Memorial Park.

I believe that every family should have their options professionally explained to them as it relates to cemetery and funeral. Therefore, I have devoted my career to serving and assisting the people in the Bay Area with their preplanning cemetery and funeral needs.

With every passing, there are two parts, the first part is the Funeral Home which takes care of the transportation of the deceased person into our care, the viewing and ceremonies, and funeral services. The 2nd part is the cemetery services, which includes the burial plot or niche, opening and closing of the selected space or niche, the placement of the burial vault or cremation urn then finally the memorialization of the loved one that passed.
